Meet your coach

Hey, I'm Kush.

My pickleball story began in Harrow in 2023, with badminton nets and very little structure. I fell in love with the game—and soon wanted to help everyone else discover it too.

Since then, I’ve helped introduce hundreds of players through Everyone Active sessions and private coaching. I’m a Pickleball England Level 1 coach, a trained educator and League Captain at Harrow Pickleball Club. Helping people find their confidence on court is what keeps me coming back.

Questions before you step on court?

If your question is not here, send a quick enquiry and I will come back to you directly.

01What does a typical coaching session look like?

Before we meet, I listen to your goals, experience and what you want to improve. On court, a short skills assessment helps me understand your starting point. I then demonstrate the skills we are working on and explain what to do and why. We develop those skills through progressive drills, feedback and game situations, then finish with a debrief on the key learning points and what to practise next. After the session, you receive a free general digital reminder resource covering the key topics from the lesson.

Your coaching session, step by step: listen to your goals, assess your skills, demonstrate, develop through practice, debrief and take away a digital reminder resource.
Tap the guide to view it at full size.
02I have never played before — is this for me?

Absolutely. Beginner sessions cover the rules, scoring, grip, core shots and where to stand. The aim is to get you playing and enjoying real points as quickly as possible.

03Do you coach experienced players?

Yes. Sessions can focus on technique, shot selection, transition play, doubles positioning, movement and match strategy for players who want to move beyond the 3.0–3.5 level.

04Where do sessions take place?

Coaching is available across Harrow, Three Rivers and surrounding parts of Hertfordshire. Regular venues include William Penn Leisure Centre in Rickmansworth, central Watford or Woodside Leisure Centre in Watford, and Batchwood Sports Centre in St Albans. Other nearby locations can also be considered by arrangement.

05Can I train with a friend or my doubles partner?

Yes. Group coaching is ideal for friends and doubles partners because we can build communication, positioning and decision-making into the drills.

06How does the block-booking discount work?

Book four or more lessons together and receive 20% off the coaching price. It is a great option if you want a structured improvement plan and time to embed each change.

07What happens after my lesson?

You receive free recap resources that highlight what we discussed and provide useful reminders for practice, so the learning can continue after we leave the court.
