Your game.
Your paddle.

A step-by-step guide to a paddle profile that suits you, with the reasons behind it.

Question 1 of 13One choice per question

Where are you in your pickleball journey?

Choose your pickleball experience, even if you have played another racket sport for years.

Understand the paddle terms

Shape, weight distribution, face and core work together. Widebody usually offers a wider forgiving area; elongated usually offers more reach. Test the individual model.

Lower swing weight tends to make acceleration easier. Higher twist weight resists rotation on off-centre contact. Compare both, rather than chasing the lightest paddle.

Core type alone cannot predict spin or lifespan. Look for independent measurements, wear evidence and a clear warranty.

Boomstik-style clone

A full-foam paddle that plays remarkably close to the genuine Boomstik for a fraction of the price. I have personally tested, dissected and compared its construction and performance, and it comes with a cover.

  • Excellent power, pop and spin potential
  • Large, forgiving sweet spot
  • Outstanding value for recreational play

Please note: this clone is not sanctioned for tournament play and does not use Selkirk's InfinGrit surface.

Durable Grit Is Taking Over Pickleball

Players want spin that lasts, not a surface that shines for a few weeks and then fades. I break down the four independent durability tiers, compare the leading named grit technologies and explain why they are not all equal.
